Who is this training designed for?

Bloodstone & Lime is a personal healing and empowerment journey ideal for individuals who want to know more about their own ancestral magic, who are willing to research, read, and study authentically-rooted spiritual and cultural practices, who care about the legacies they are leaving behind, and who feel the call to uncover and heal the issues that have quietly impacted their families for generations.

This training is also designed for those who, due to political strife, the transatlantic slave trade, adoption, colonization, forced religious conversion, immigration, loss of homeland, or family amnesia, feel disconnected from their lineage and legacy and want to reclaim and reconnect the missing threads in their lives. This path can help repair and restore what has been lost, forgotten, stolen, or left behind.

Our Soul Priestess path will take us deep into the heart of complicated personal topics in the first year, and students will develop a coherent, researched, and proven set of ancestral practices for healing, growth, and devotion. Then, in the second year of the training, Marigold & Pomegranate, we will advance our study by connecting with Goddesses of Death, the Underworld, and the Afterlife, funerary traditions, how to address legal and practical implications at the end of life, and techniques, philosophies, and approaches to becoming a Death Doula, Grief Priestess, and Psychopomp. At the end of your two-year study, you will have the tools, practices, information, and confidence to help yourself, your family, and others with issues and circumstances around death, ancestry, and legacy.

Death Traditions of the World

Classes and written Lessons will offer a survey of the world’s beliefs, practices, prayers, and rituals around end of life, death, and grief. You will study your own cultural practices related to death and the afterlife, and develop a clear, coherent approach to working and walking between the worlds.

Connect with Benevolent Ancestors

Through divination, working with herbs, creating talismans, meditations, shamanic journeys, and ceremonies, you will establish loving, helpful relationships with the benevolent ancestors, guardians, and guides who remain active in this realm to support and protect you and your family.

Create meaningful Rituals

There are as many approaches to honoring the dying and the dead as there are cultures and peoples on Earth. Your path is personal, unique, and magical. You will adopt and adapt your own traditional cultural practices and create a ritual framework that honors and celebrates your ancestors year-round.

Your Instructor

With a Scorpio Moon in the 8th House, themes of death and magic have never been far from Priestess Yeshe’s mind and heart. Her deep connection to her Polish and French ancestry led her on a path of self-discovery through her early Priestesshood from 2006 onward. After a significant divination in 2015 confirmed that she was meant to work with the dead, dying, and grieving, she embarked on a mission to learn best practices, which included Death Doula training, the study of funerary traditions, personal work, and divination. In 2017 she created a popular 13 Days of Ancestral Healing program that helped hundreds of people uncover and repair their ancestral lines. During the global pandemic, she offered monthly circles so psychopomps could come together and help confused or traumatized souls cross over. These efforts blossomed into two years of community Dark Moon circles centered on ancestor healing and veneration. Now, nearly 10 years after that initial reading that beckoned her to study the realm of the dead, she received a new reading telling her that it is time to bring this work to her community. Bloodstone & Lime, and its second year Marigold & Pomegranate, are the results of this longtime study and practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be a woman to take this training?
Yes. Our Temple’s mission includes creating a specific type of learning environment rooted in longstanding practices of women’s wisdom-sharing, designed around the female body and the history of women practitioners.

I don’t know who my ancestors are, or much about them. Can I still take this course?
Yes. This course was created to help facilitate greater connection and understanding between the ancestral realm and the class participant. This training will help you fill in the blanks around your own ancestors of blood and affinity.

I have shame, fear, sorrow, or anger around my lineage. Will this class help?
Long before you or any of your immediate family were born, ancestors of your blood had experiences that have influenced your DNA. Bloodstone & Lime will help you take ethical responsibility for healing yourself and the world from the effects of these societal and personal pains. You can spiritually release, integrate, or correct these challenging aspects of your ancestry when you better understand why things are the way they are.

I am far from my ancestral home, living on lands stolen from or originally inhabited by others. Will this impact my work in the class?
Our Temple honors the Winnemem Wintu, Yurok, Karuk, Shasta, Okwanuchu, and other Indigenous tribes that have tended this land in Siskiyou County for many generations before colonizers arrived, who are integral to the health and sustainability of this region. We encourage all of our students to know, support, and honor the First Nations people of the land where they now live. Through meditation journeys, sacred pilgrimages, and other techniques, you will learn to connect to the lands of your family’s origins.

How much does the program cost?
To apply for Bloodstone & Lime, you must be a member of the Temple, which requires an initial commitment of $99.00 for a Lifetime membership. You are encouraged to join the Temple and participate in activities and programs for a few months to a year in advance of applying for Priestess Training with us to ensure that you are familiar with our Temple protocols. After you join the Temple and submit your Training Application, please schedule a Beeswax Divination with Priestess Yeshe to secure your spot in the program.

Monthly dues for the program are $150, which includes

  • written lessons and personal homework assignments to help you clarify your ancestral path

  • video conferences with the group to study topics and methods related to the course themes

  • text support from Priestess Yeshe

  • one-on-one sessions and divinations with Priestess Yeshe to discuss your progress, workings, and questions

  • optional retreats in Mt. Shasta, CA and abroad (separate fee)

Are there refunds?
There is no refund for your Temple membership or the initial Beeswax Divination session. After that, each student pays month by month. You may stop at any time if the program doesn’t suit you.

Are the Classes and Retreats accessible?
Yes. All of our classes are online and recorded, accessible to all class members in perpetuity. In most cases, our retreats and pilgrimages are accessible to those who are blind, deaf, or have mobility issues. Particular activities may require modification, and alternate activities can also be arranged. The Temple will work with students to address individual needs to the best of our capacity.

If I take this training, will I be a legal Priestess?
If you complete this first year of training, you will make your commitments and begin to practice your year of focused ancestor veneration. If you complete the second year, Marigold and Pomegranate, you will be consecrated and recognized as one of the Priestesses of the Temple.

Is this course appropriating from any culture?
No. This course is designed to introduce you to the practices and practitioners of many cultures and to help you find your personal path. In this course, we acknowledge the difficult questions of lineage, de-colonizing the mind, and appreciation vs. appropriation. All spiritual methods shared in this class are from Priestess Yeshe’s experience or are self-guided according to your personal path.

I’m pretty shy. Will I have to talk a lot in the group, or will I be expected to share personal information with others?
You can communicate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. This is not a course about putting ourselves on display. It’s a course about becoming more magical and empowered in who we are. If you’re quiet and shy, you will likely find resonance in certain practices we do that are designed to cultivate introspection and gentleness. If you are introverted, extroverted, or a combination of both, you will likely find relief in the warm, supportive, non-performative community we’ve created in the Temple.
