Priestesses Yeshe & Devanna bringing a group of Priestesses and Sibyls to Greece from October 2-12, 2025, where we will explore the sacred sites of Ancient Athens, Eleusis, and Delphi. Our intimate women’s travel group will spend time honoring the lineage of prophetesses who came before us, studying the medicine, wisdom, and transformational power of the oracular Pythia, and basking in the eternal magic of the ancient future.
Do you hear the call?
Arrive in Athens
Oct 2: When you arrive at the Athens International Airport, you'll be picked up and brought to our hotel to rest after your long flight. You can settle in, unpack, have a snack, or take a nap before dinner. Over our evening meal, we will debrief about the next 10 days, ending our night with offerings for the spirits and ancestors of the land. Please bring coins or crystals to make offerings where we go.
Eleusis
Oct 3: We will take a leisurely drive along the Iera Odos from Athens to the Sanctuary of Aphrodite and pay our respects before continuing to Eleusis, the ancient home of the Mysteries that were never revealed. There, we will explore the sacred site ruins, visit the cave of Pluto, the Well of Demeter, and the place where the Priestess of Persephone would ascend from the Underworld during the annual Mysterium. Finally, we will drive onward to land in Delphi.
Pythia Retreat
Oct 4-7: Our group will have private and shared rooms, and a community house that is walking distance from the entrance to the Delphic Oracle site and the Castalian Spring. Our time in Delphi will include purifications at the Castalian Spring, a guided tour of the Temple site and museum, a hike to the Corycian Cave where the early oracles presided, daily ritual offerings, divination classes, ceremonial practices to awaken our intuitive abilities, and private time to explore the magic.
Thebes & Trophonius
During our Delphi Retreat, we will visit the Archaeological Museum of Thebes, which houses pristine relics related to the myths of Ariadne and Dionysos, and on the way back to Delphi we will make a stop in the gloaming eve at the ancient, watery oraclular site of Trophonius, where petitioners would seek prophecy from within the womb of the Earth.
Galaxidi
Oct 8-9: No trip to Greece would be complete without a visit to the Mediterannean Sea. We will make our way down to the beautiful seaside village of Galaxidi. There, we will make offerings to the ocean goddesses Aphrodite, Amphitrite, the Nereides Nymphs, and Thalassa, and enjoy dinner on the beach. On Oct 9, our final day in Delphi, there will be free time to pack, prepare for the journey onward, and wander the village before a final sunset ceremony of farewell.
Exploring Athens
Oct 10-11: We will head back to Athens to tour the Acropolis, the Agora, the Temples of Hephaestus, Zeus, Asclepios, Dionysos, and the Sanctuary of Artemis, sampling healthy, delicious Greek cuisine to keep our strength up and enjoying the beautiful open-air Greek shops and markets as we make our way through the city. In the evenings we will rest in our stylish apartment with a view of the Acropolis.
Fly Away Home
Oct 12 Everyone will have a ride back to the Athens airport, and we will make our way back home, or onward to new adventures!
