Oreads & Peleiades is an advanced training for those who have already felt the call of Aphrodite Priestesshood through the Love & Aether class, and who are ready to engage her mysteries with greater intensity and luminosity. Across six live sessions and a 7-day immersive alchemical practice, we will enter the cave-temples, garden-altars, and violet-veiled star-paths of the goddess in this detailed study of her complicated forms: as lover and warrior, mourner and mystic, union-maker and oracle. This is a course for women who are ready to let Aphrodite work through their hands, hearts, and bodies more fully—not only to beautify and heal their lives, but to catalyze deep spiritual and emotional transformation.

Each of our six themes brings forward a potent archetypal lens on Aphrodite’s evolving role in the world: from sexual sovereign to grief-holder, from anointing priestess to syncretic world-soul. You will not only learn her stories and rites, but embody her energies more prominently in your life and service. Through historical research, a study of ritual from ancient times to present, and hands-on preparation of your own tools and workings, you will be challenged, nourished, and initiated more fully into your own Aphroditic current. Between our last two classes, you’ll engage a one-week intensive with the planetary metals—a daily practice designed to anchor alchemical insight in your body, soul, and sensory experience.

Course Dates and Themes

August 22: Her Nights of Pleasure: Sex Magick Then and Now
In this opening class, we will explore the mysteries of sacred sexuality, tracing Aphrodite’s erotic rites from ancient temples to modern ritual settings. We'll examine the mythic and magical underpinnings of sex magick as a form of prayer, invocation, and transformation. This class empowers us to reclaim pleasure as a spiritual right and explore desire as a sacred current that connects body and divinity.

August 29: Beautiful Goddess of Marriage: Ancient & Modern Rites of Union
Aphrodite was not only the inspirer of lust, but also the protector of marriage, harmony, and sacred agreements. In this class, we will study rituals of union from ancient Greece, Cyprus, and beyond—then turn inward to examine our own covenants: with self, others, and Spirit. We will explore both literal and metaphorical marriage as initiatory paths of integration, commitment, and the crafting of beauty in relationship.

September 5: An Ally in Love’s Battle: Aphrodite’s Vitriol
Aphrodite is not always gentle. She incites battle over love, beauty, and the worth of a soul. In this provocative session, we will delve into her aspects as agitator, goddess of war, and fierce ally. From mythic conflicts like the Judgment of Paris to the potent symbolism of vitriol in alchemy, we will look at how love provokes, confronts injustice, awakens us to our true desires, and burns away what no longer serves.

September 12: The Death of Adonis: Mourning & Wounded Hearts
This class invites us into the tender, often hidden, aspect of Aphrodite as mourner. Through the myth of Adonis, we will reflect on grief, loss, and the heartbreaks we carry in love. Participants will be guided in healing practices that allow for sacred mourning, emotional release, and the cultivation of compassion. This is a space for ritual weeping and for remembering the wisdom of our tears.

September 19: Myrrh, Cassia, & Frankincense: The Oracles of Love
We turn now to the priestess-oracle: the one who breathes perfume and speaks visions. This class will explore Aphrodite's association with prophetic arts, sacred resins, and ecstatic trance. We will engage in anointing practices, incense and scent magic, and divinatory techniques used by ancient Aphroditic priestesses, opening our channels to hear the voice of love’s deeper truths.

September 26: Her Tyrian Mantle: Isis-Aphrodite Unveiled
Our final session will unveil the syncretic goddess Isis-Aphrodite, worshipped from Alexandria to Asia Minor. We will explore the blending of Egyptian and Hellenic mystery traditions, and what this merging can teach us about the world soul, sacred sovereignty, and layered spiritual identity. This is a culmination class where we will reflect on how we, too, are complicated portals of the eternal, transcendent female divine.

The Alchemical Nature of Aphrodite & the 7 Planetary Metals

Aphrodite is an alchemical goddess. Her power is not limited to charm, adornment, sexuality, or eroticism—it lies in her ability to transmute sorrow into compassion, desire into creative force, and the ordinary into the sublime. In the tradition of sacred alchemy, she corresponds to copper, the metal of Venus—conductive, beautiful, and transformative. But as we deepen in her mysteries, we discover that she moves through all seven planetary metals, transforming their tensions and embodying their blessings.

Our 7-day intensive included in this class (September 19-26) invites you to work with each metal—lead, tin, iron, gold, copper, mercury, and silver—as a devotional and reflective practice. Each day will offer a guided ritual and lessons that mirror Aphrodite’s influence on different aspects of being: from shadow work to radiance, discipline to delight, embodiment to transcendence. As you move through these metals, you’ll track your own inner transformation and emerge with an awakened understanding of love’s alchemical power.
